I am still uncertain as to what defines "celebrity", but I seem to be photographing those faces forever - three decades-plus.
From the glitz of Studio 54 days to the now, those 15 minutes of fame predicted by Andy Warhol, seem to have dwindled to 15 seconds or less.
What I truly believe is that the-cult-of-celebrity had gone mad with those of lesser achievements and accomplishments elevated to the ranks once rightfully reserved for those seriously assisting in creating a better world - the Albert Einsteins, the Jonas Salks, and the Maya Angelous. It is certainly time our culture redefines what is truly important and therefore placed centerfold.
But it is still fun...
